Security and your data
How Pricely stores and protects your data, and how you stay in control of it.
Where your data lives
Pricely stores your data in Google Cloud Firestore in the United States. It's encrypted in transit and at rest, which is Google Cloud's default.
Signing in
- Sign in with Google, or with an email address and password.
- Change your password from Settings›Account & Subscription.
- Teammates only join a workspace by accepting an invite made for their email address. What they can do depends on their role.
How clients get access
- Clients don't need a Pricely account. They open a private link to a quote or invoice.
- The client portal uses a one-time 6-digit PIN sent to the client's email. It expires after 15 minutes.
- Card payments go through Stripe. Pricely never sees or stores card numbers.
Back up your data
Download a full JSON backup from Settings›Data & Backup whenever you like. Pricely doesn't make automatic backups for you, so download one before big changes. You can also export CSVs from the Quotes, Invoices and Clients pages.
Delete your account
- Open the danger zone
Go to Settings›Account & Subscription›Danger zone and click Delete account.

Owners can also delete a whole team workspace from workspace settings by typing its name.
